Principle Investigator
Dr. Anthony F. Rullo
Assistant Professor - Chemical Immunology
Associate Professor - Medicine
Lab Members
Nickolas Serniuck
PhD Candidate - Chemical Biology
Nick is a PhD student in the Chemical Biology Program and is co-supervised by Dr. Jonathan Bramson. He is currently working on the design, synthesis, and testing of bifunctional covalent dimerizers capable of bringing immune machinery to cancer cells. When he is not in the lab you can either find him playing hockey or skiing.
Eden Kapcan
MD/PhD - Chemical Biology
Eden Kapcan studies chemical biology at McMaster University. He is engaged in the rational design and SAR of immunomodulatory ligands. Outside of the lab, he enjoys reading, chess, hiking and classics.
Arthur Srayeddin
PhD Student - Chemical Biology
Arthur is a graduate student in the Chemical Biology program and is co-supervised by Dr. Jonathan Bramson. He is working on the development and validation of a universal CIR that recruits T-cells to various targets (cancerous or other) by labeling an assortment of antibodies. Outside of the lab, he enjoys playing chess, weight lifting, drinking water, and eating bread.
Karolina Krygier
PhD Student - Chemical Biology
Karolina is a graduate student in the Chemical Biology program. Her research focuses on the development of multi-antigen targeting antibodies for cancer immunotherapy. Karolina enjoys working out, cooking, and playing with her Bengal and Tabby cats!
Sandra Hwang
MSc Student - Biochemistry
Sandra is a graduate student in the Biochemistry program. Her project focuses on using our lab’s bifunctionals to reprogram tumour associated macrophages (TAMs) to eliminate tumour cells. When not in the lab, Sandra enjoys playing volleyball, playing video games, and listening to and playing music.
